Kitchen Sofa Bed Design Ideas
#2025올해의집
Ever since I was young, I've loved collecting pretty stationery and diary decorating. Now, as an adult, I love finding beautiful accessories and furniture and am passionate about decorating spaces filled with my own personal style.
As a lazy homebody, I spend most of my time in my own space rather than going out. I wanted to create warm, cozy spaces where I could truly find peace and tranquility.
I don't have a consistent taste, so I've gone from a time when I loved wood to a time when I loved color, steel, and vintage. The objects I've collected over time have naturally blended to create my current spaces, each reflecting my unique style. Some spaces are filled with vibrant colors, while others have a vintage feel, infused with wood tones. This year, I've added even more of my own tastes to this space.
While browsing through Today's House's housewarmings and references, I'm often intrigued by the diverse tastes I've encountered, and sometimes even inspired.
I think it will be an opportunity to share with more people through the 2025 House of the Year Awards, which is a collection of records that each person has accumulated over the year.

This House, Our Story
16 years ago, we found this house—a new cluster house, and it immediately felt comfortable since we first moved in. Over time, the need for space increased, and the house began to ‘demand’ repairs here and there. Until finally, about 4 years ago, we decided to do a total renovation.
Not without consideration, of course. We had thought about moving to a new house, but after calculating it, renovation felt more reasonable. The budget was more controlled, and most importantly, we could design the house according to our own needs and tastes.
One of the things that made us fall in love with this house is the fairly spacious public facilities area at the back that can be used by the cluster residents—of course with certain rules. Plus a simple, low-maintenance, functional, and healthy design with lots of light and air circulation from large windows on each side of the house.
This is our dream home, a place where many stories are engraved, and we still continue to enjoy every corner of it to this day.

Hello, my name is KAREN and I became the ambassador for season 2 from January 9th.
From now on, I'll do my best to show you a lot of multi-hobby rooms filled with my "likes" 🌿
I live in a [rental apartment, 1k 8.2 tatami] room.
I wanted both a sofa and a bed, so I chose a semi-double sofa bed to make the room more spacious!
The 8.2 tatami living room has space for plants, art, coffee, and music 😊
You won't be able to tell when you look at the whole room, but if you look closer, you'll think, ``There's Ghibli in this place!'' I'm secretly aiming to create a hidden Ghibli room that will be as fun as a treasure hunt😎 lol
This is not a simple or minimalist room, but I hope you enjoy looking at it.
Thank you very much for your support🫶
