Inside a Midcentury Modern 1100 sq ft apartment in San Francisco
Styling and redesigning my apartment is what keeps my creative juices flowing. My name is Helen (Instagram: @helen.hjh) and I live in San Francisco with my husband, Tim (and hopefully a puppy in the future). I work as a partnerships manager for a nonprofit and my husband works in accounting and finance. Outside of work, you can find us exploring the city, eating at local restaurants, and thrifting for the next secondhand treasure. After getting married almost two years ago, Tim and I made it our mission to move to San Francisco. We went to college together just across the Bay Bridge, so San Francisco has always held a particular charisma for us.We rent a 1-bedroom open-concept apartment with 1.5 bathrooms that measures 1100 sq. ft. Our complex has 40 newly built units, all featuring unusually large floor plans. My favorite thing about the apartment is undoubtedly the curved, floor-to-ceiling bay windows. They make the space look even bigger than it already is and let in so much light during the day, which is great as we mostly work from home.

Inside a 650 sq ft of cozy comfort in this small space in San Diego
When first decorating your home, create vision boards for each room with finishes, color palettes or decor that inspires you. Hello from San Diego! My name is Gabriela and I’m a 29 year old designer and content creator. After living in NYC for about 10 years, my fiancé and I decided to take a leap and move across the country to California to experience a more laid back coastal city lifestyle.

🏠Inside a European-Inspired Home Filled With Natural Light and Warmth
Hello, I’m Euna! I’m 38 years old and love to golf. I’m also a food photographer and stylist in addition to being a magazine writer and home furnishing store visual merchandiser for 7 years. Not only am I very enthusiastic about food and baking but I also love decorating my house in a European, natural aesthetic. When I first laid eyes on this house, I was instantly captivated by the white oak hardwood flooring and the high ceilings adorned with skylights. The unique layout of the house creates an airy, inviting space and I was particularly drawn to the backyard garden that opens directly to the park.

How to embrace dark floors & create spaces for hobbies in any home
What I like about Whan's home • The biophilic element is a wonderful accent to the living space. It makes the space feel bright and warm. • I like the wooden tones in the living room. They soften the space and lighten the floor's darkness.Designer Recommendations • Rearrange the furniture to maximize the space, improve the flow of the room, and increase storage. • Create separate spaces for his hobbies (i.e reading nook and piano area) •Lighten up the space with curtains and rugs!
