However, it smelled a bit like wood, so I took it out for a while and brought it into the bedroom, and it was fine. There was some dark stains on the legs, so I sanded it down and installed it.
I chose a bright natural color, but I think a heavy brown tone would also look pretty :)
I like the warm color that goes well with anything.
