Modern Bathroom Wall Sconce Design Ideas
My design style has shifted a lot over the years, but I’ve always gravitated toward moody tones. We sold our previous home in 2022, after just completing the renovation. I had dubbed the title of that project the Moody Nordic Cottage – going for a Scandinavian meets vintage look. I love black and white, so that was my base for every room. I softened it up with some warm neutrals, and added some drama with a few deeper colors here and there. I also created some vintage charm and texture that was lacking in the 50s Cape. The boldest choice I made was going with black for our kitchen cabinets. We loved the way it all turned out! I find that using a few words to describe the vibe you want your home to give off is so helpful in selecting materials and furnishings. Small renovations have big effects ✨ Because the previous floor got dirty quickly and looked dirty when cleaned, I replaced it with non-slip ceramic tiles with terrazzo motifs. Just changing the floor completely changed the vibe of the bathroom. ➖ Bathroom Makeover The bathroom is rarely shown because it's not really worth showing 😂 This super tiny bathroom measures 1.65 x 1.25m It's still built by the developer, and there's only 1 bathroom in this house, so we can only use #DIYlowbudget #MakeoverLowbudget so that it looks prettier, more aesthetic but still functional. The walls have been made over 3 times since we first moved in, first using marble motif wall stickers, then changing to brick motif wall stickers, and now using 3 types of 'ceramic' in different colors and DIY motifs. The first is the original ceramic, painted with black ceramic paint. The top wall is covered with vinyl from the rest of the floor, and the walls on the left and right use a checkered granite pattern foam wallpaper sticker. Thank God, I have had this bathroom decoration for a year and it is still lasting now. Hopefully later there will be good fortune. I really want to renovate this small bathroom to make it more comfortable and functional. 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐢 𝐊𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢 𝐔𝐭𝐚𝐦𝐚 𝐝𝐢 #rumahlimut, from being narrow because there are gaps and messy because there are no gaps, to being neater & more comfortable! ✨ This 2x3.2m bathroom transformation is a 𝒎𝙮 𝙙𝒓𝙚𝒂𝙢 𝙗𝒂𝙩𝒉𝙧𝒐𝙤𝒎. With a 𝒕𝙞𝒎𝙚𝒍𝙚𝒔𝙨 𝙘𝒉𝙞𝒄 design, we open the ceiling a little for the 𝙨𝒌𝙮𝒍𝙞𝒈𝙝𝒕 above the sink area so that natural light can enter. This bathroom is accessible from the master bedroom and directly 𝒄𝙤𝒏𝙣𝒆𝙘𝒕𝙚𝒅 through a door to the 𝙬𝒂𝙡𝒌-𝒊𝙣 𝙘𝒍𝙤𝒔𝙚𝒕. The floor & walls are fully up using 120x60cm marble motif granite without removing the old ceramics to cut costs and shorten the 𝙩𝒊𝙢𝒆 𝒇𝙧𝒂𝙢𝒆 work. Specifically for the bathroom area, we differentiate the walls by using 𝒛𝙚𝒍𝙡𝒊𝙜𝒆 𝒕𝙞𝒍𝙚 (Moroccan ceramics) to maintain an “organic” feel. To create a “warm” atmosphere, we chose 𝙨𝒉𝙤𝒘𝙚𝒓, faucets & bidets in 𝙜𝒐𝙡𝒅, several features with brass & silver materials. ‼️ Before and after transformation of a small bathroom measuring 170cm x 160cm . This bathroom (main bathroom) in the Casadeharsa house is located on the 2nd floor. The layout is the original developer's and was not changed during the renovation because there was a risk of leaks when sleeping to make a new channel. . So that this small bathroom looks spacious and more functional, the transformations we made during the renovation so that this bathroom also becomes more aesthetic and looks luxurious are: ✅ Replacing all ceramics with mosaic tiles (ceramic sheets) ✅ Replacing the toilet model without a cylinder ✅ Replacing the shower pole with a built-in shower ✅ Moving the water heater to the ceiling ✅ Replacing all sanitary products from silver to gold with the same appearance/type of gold / one type ✅ Providing a large arch mirror ✅ Replacing the wet and dry area separator from curtains to tempered glass ✅ Replacing the bathroom cabinet model with a sink above the top table ✅ Drilling a hole in the wall for a soap dish and adding an LED strip. ✅ Moving the exhaust fan position .
