Dad's idea to prevent the cat from turning on the sink water alone when the owner goes to work💡 He bought a piece of wire and a latch from Daiso and made it in no time. Originally, I was going to tie it with something like a rubber band, but I was worried that the cat could easily break the rubber band if it wanted to and that it might even swallow it.
