Today's housekeeping tip!! How to remove stains that look like oil stains from fabrics After washing cleanly, there are times when you see a stain that wasn't there before. Huh?? You might think, "It didn't exist before washing, so where did it come from?" This is usually caused by fatty acid components on the fabric reacting with water during washing and spreading like a stain. For example, vegetable/animal oils, which are ingredients in cosmetics such as moisturizing creams or oils, or ingredients in foods such as snacks or butter, are the reason why stains were especially common on children's clothes. When washing, they don't come off with just washing, but leave marks that look like oil stains.
