In May, the month of family gatherings, I had dinner with my parents. When I asked Mom, “Is there anything you want to eat?” she said, “I want to eat mushroom stew.” I was worried because it was a menu I had never tried before, but I gave it a try anyway! For dinner, I made LA ribs and grilled fish that my kids like, and prepared mushroom stew that my mom wanted to eat.
