If you place the sofa in the middle of the living room, it's like this- I put the TV on one wall of the living room and the sofa on the opposite wall, so the space in the center was too wasteful. In addition, the TV is on the small side, so I pulled the sofa toward the TV, and the space behind the sofa created a space where I can spend time alone.
