•Living Room Evolution I’ve changed the layout of my house a lot in the past two years since I moved into this house. In particular, the living room, which is the largest space, had so many things I wanted to try that I think there were times when I changed it again in a week😅 In the process, I gradually found a structure that suited my wife and I, and I’ve organized a few things I felt during this process! 1. Importance of Lifestyle It was important to know what we do at home and what kind of lifestyle we live by. For example, we always watch TV while eating, my wife’s hobby of knitting is the most comfortable on the sofa, and work is done well in the studio. I thought that if I put it in the living room, it would be visible, so I would do it, but I ended up not doing it! I think it’s best to know your lifestyle and have a living room layout that suits it. 2. Importance of Taste My taste in furniture, home appliance brands, or design became more solid as time went by. I realized that even if I brought in pretty or famous things here and there, if they didn’t fit my taste, I wouldn’t be able to keep them for long. In the process, my taste has also developed more and more! 3. Importance of placement Even with the same home appliances and furniture, the practicality and emotion can change a lot depending on where you put them! In that sense, I think things like modular sofas are very versatile. There are things that can be said to be in the optimal location, and there are things that give a similar feeling no matter where you put them, and when you think about the combination of those things, the location is decided! Through these processes, I think my house is becoming more stable and my taste is developing, so I like it!
