🐤 Hidden door construction review We didn't ask for it, but the interior company installed the hidden door. It was a popular interior design at the time, so I think the owner wanted to put it in our house too. After the construction, it was neat and pretty, but... there were the following disadvantages. If you're thinking about installing a hidden door, be sure to think about the following before installing it! 1️⃣ It costs more money and time to install. The carpenter said to us, "Why are you doing something like a hidden door?" and "This is adding another day to the time." 😅. Of course, the carpenter, not the interior designer, must have thought we wanted a hidden door.. But more than anything, we wanted a quick construction, so the construction period was extended for no reason because of the hidden door. (In the end, we couldn't finish it properly during the interior design period and had to install it in a hurry.) 2️⃣ It's good for places that are usually closed. My house was built in the laundry room, and since there is a dryer, I usually live with the door open to avoid moisture. I thought that if I had to live with the door open, I wouldn't have installed a hidden door...
