It took months for me to build and design my dream room. In the process of building this room, there were various layout and layout changes, especially in the position and size of the room windows. Not quite there, the placement of the furniture was renovated several times. After going through a lot of trial and error, I am confident enough to say that I have succeeded in realizing my dream room; Scandinavian style rooms combined with Japanese style with good natural lighting. This is reflected in the choice of various furniture with wooden accents, plus ornamental plants that add color to the room. In choosing furniture, I took a lot of inspiration from the houses I found in Japan. Apart from that, I was also quite inspired by a Youtuber—BenjiPlant, who gave many recommendations on good plants to place indoors. During the journey of building this room, I got a lot of comments from people around me about what I should do with my room. But I always say no. I think it is important for us to stick with our personal desires and be authentic.
