As I get older, there is something that I resemble my mother in. That is, I ‘eat out’ less. I don’t think I would have done that if I lived in Korea🥹 Living in a wasteland of taste, the land of potatoes, I like home-cooked meals the most.. (I also like home-cooked meals made by others..) That’s why I drag my tired body into the kitchen the day after a flight. But I think it was a bit over the top that I made rice in a pot, chicken ribs, soy sauce, and pickled cucumbers. I got too tired in the middle🤧 The ingredients are in the picture🫶🏻 🍚Myeongran rice in a pot ▪️Heat a pot to cook rice, add a piece of butter, and fry the pollack roe on medium heatㅠboth sides. ▪️Remove the pollack roe, add rice that has been soaked for 30 minutes, and stir-fry on high heat until you hear a crackling sound. ▪️Put in a cup of water and 1T of tsuyu, open the lid, and boil for about 10 minutes on high heat. The water will be thick and the holes will be full. Then, scrape the bottom once to mix, change to low heat, cover, and boil for 10 minutes. ▪️Turn off the heat and let it sit for 5 minutes, then add chopped green onions and grilled pollack roe, cover, and mix well when eating.🫶🏻 🌭Stir-fried sausage and vegetables ▪️Cut the sausage into bite-size pieces using a knife, and cut the onion and paprika into similar-sized pieces. Cut the green onion into 5cm long pieces. ▪️Put some cooking oil on the pan, stir-fry the sausage, and when the knife marks become clear, add the onion and paprika and stir-fry. If you have garlic powder, add 1T and stir-fry together. ▪️Pour the sauce (mix 0.5T gochujang, 2T allulose, 3T ketchup, and 2T tonkatsu sauce) and stir-fry together, then add green onions and mix once more to complete. 🥒Cucumber salad I brought the pickled cucumbers that my mom made without water. ▪️Slice 2 pickled cucumbers thinly, add 0.5T minced garlic, 1.5T sesame oil, and 0.5T red pepper powder and mix well. 🐔Dakgalbi ▪️Cut the chicken breast into bite-size pieces. ▪️Cut the vegetables into the desired size and prepare. ▪️Mix all the sauce ingredients (3T gochujang, 1T fine red pepper powder, 1T coarse red pepper powder, 1T minced garlic, 1.5T soy sauce, 2T cooking wine, 1T allulose, 1T curry powder) together and pour 1/3 of it over the chicken breast and mix. ▪️Add a little water to a heated pan and stir-fry the chicken breast and sweet potatoes mixed with the sauce. ▪️Stir-fry the carrots, cabbage (optional), and onions in that order, and when the sweet potatoes are about 90% cooked, add the perilla leaves and green onions and stir-fry. It takes a long time to prepare the ingredients, but it's a quick dish to cook..
