[Prologue] #Reason for starting a record club I was spending my time like any other day when the KakaoTalk alarm rang. When I checked, it was a post recruiting members for the record club. I read through the activities of the record club and thought I wanted to try it out, but I was living a freelance life where it was difficult to do everything I was currently doing, so I closed the window with a heavy heart. And that week, my move was suddenly decided. After graduating from college, I lived in Germany for 4 years and returned to Korea the year before last, so it’s been 1 year and 6 months since I started living in Korea again. Unlike my previous dorms and houses where options were already packed in, the house I live in now was the first house where I could choose the bed frame. That’s how I started decorating my house when I didn’t even know exactly what my taste was. At that moment, when I was feeling regretful that I would have to leave this place that I liked so much in 6 months, the record club suddenly flashed through my mind. Ah! There was a record club! Then I should record this space beautifully and keep it in a book since I will be leaving in 6 months. I thought that would be the greatest gift I could give to this house and to myself who would be so sad to leave this place. That's how I applied for the record club that day and luckily became a member of the first group and am writing this article now. — My own #해시태그. Let me start with the reason why I use the name 'Hey Jules'. Among my favorite foreign movies are 'The Fault in Our Stars' and 'The Intern', and Anne Hathaway's character name in 'The Intern' is 'Jules'. That's why I like the name 'Jules'. So I combined the two and used 'Hey, Jules', which means 'Hello, Jules', and in Korean it became 'Hey Jules'. So I wanted my hashtag to not deviate too much from this frame. I really liked a sentence from a book I read in 2016, so I wrote it down in my notebook, but I can't remember the name of the book or the author, so I just keep it as a phrase. 'The moment I press the shutter, time becomes a memory, and memories become memories.' My moment that I want to remember. My hashtag #헤이줄스모먼트 that was created like that. Around this time last year, I was missing my time in Germany, so I picked out a few photos I took back then and wrote down the date and place I took them on a postcard. I currently have it up in my living room, and whenever I look at it, I think back to that time. If the Record Club is published as a book in the future, I hope I can recall this time and reminisce and remember it whenever I take it out. #RecordClub #헤이줄스모먼트
