Record Club Second Post📝 [Small Library] I like to organize and decorate every corner of my house, but there is something I rarely do. That is, changing the arrangement of furniture. Once the furniture is arranged in the arrangement that I think is best, I rarely move it until I move. There are days when I think about changing it once, and that day came recently. I was looking out the window of my children's room, and images suddenly came to my mind, and when I sketched the images, I thought this would be okay. My body didn't follow my desire to change it quickly, so I kept putting it off for a few days, and one day, I showed off my incredible strength by laying down and standing up a large table that wouldn't fit through the door. Once I moved the largest table, the work progressed very quickly. (In fact, the only furniture I moved was the table and chairs.) It was a task of changing the arrangement of two rooms facing each other, so I took out all the books on the bookshelves in each room, stacked them up like a mountain, and divided the books to be disposed of and the books to be kept. As I rearranged the books one by one, my heart rate increased and my adrenaline surged. It was so much fun. How could I have endured it all this time? This started from my desire to enjoy the magnolias outside the large window. It was a space where the children could comfortably read books, with only children's books and bean bags, but when they sat on the low bean bags, they didn't have to look up at the window. In addition, the children who had grown out of their toddler years and entered elementary school spent more time at the table than sitting on the bean bags. They liked to write, draw, and make things when they got ideas while reading books, so it was a good time to make a change. I moved the space where I could comfortably read books on the bean bags to a smaller, more cozy room, and made a small library by arranging tables to take advantage of the million-dollar tree view. I also put my books in the place of the books I had disposed of, and moved plants to the windowsill. After I finished arranging the lights and sat on the chair looking out the window, my heart swelled. It became a prettier space than I had imagined. I was proud to see my husband and children enjoying it. This room is filled with sunlight in the morning, so I drink my morning coffee and read a book here these days. I opened the window and looked at the magnolia leaves swaying in the wind for a long time. I wanted to remember the June morning air, sunlight, blue sky, and the color of the magnolia. It was so dazzling that I thought I should record it well and take it out in the winter. Our cozy and beautiful little library. A study and workroom that I share with my children. I was satisfied with this experience, so I think I will change the layout often in the future. However, I want to keep this space as it is. (I did it and fell in love with it.) For the time being, I will stay here and fully enjoy it.
