The first thing I like: Realizing my romantic dream, my house Before I got married, I was known as an outsider who would go out and spend a day on my days off. After getting married, I followed my husband to his job and spent my first honeymoon in Yangpyeong, Gyeonggi-do. Living in a place I had no connection to, I spent a lot of time at home, and naturally, I started to take an interest in decorating and maintaining the space I lived in. After dinner on weekdays or on weekends, I often drove around the neighborhood to see the pretty country houses in Yangpyeong, which was a small pleasure in my ordinary daily life. We also had a happy dream of building a house that reflected our tastes and living there someday. (I regret choosing an apartment as our first honeymoon home in Yangpyeong. What would it have been like if we had lived in a country house?) Due to the nature of my husband’s job, we moved to several places in a short period of time, from Yangpyeong, where we spent our first honeymoon, to Incheon, and now to Cheongju. Now, when I think, 'Jeju Island across the ocean, anywhere overseas seems fine...', I, who used to dislike change, have changed into someone who knows how to enjoy dynamic change. Then, my husband's job change allowed me to finally settle down here and I was able to plan a house that was small but cute and, above all, reflected my taste. Although it was a small space of 24 pyeong, this remodeling had more to worry about and choose than the wedding preparation list. It was difficult to realize our dreams to the fullest within the budget given to us, but my heart raced as I looked around the site every day during the construction period and saw the house changing. What joy it was when the picture I had in my head before the remodeling project became reality! After remodeling and home styling, I think it's a house that I like quite a bit. I, who used to dislike change, have moved to various regions and changed the interior of the house to reflect my taste. I think I can enjoy change now!
