The bookshelf is deep enough to hold two books. The color is also nice and deep, and the wood inside the drawer smells good. The delivery man was also kind and nice. He must have been heavy all the way up there, but he smiled without making a single frown, which made me feel good. However, the disappointing thing is that the item is defective. There are two rough spots on the front of the bookshelf. There are some scratches on the corners of the drawer. This seems to be a quality inspection issue, not a delivery issue. (I watched everything from the time I unpacked it.) To be honest, I think this is a refurbished product. I could have gotten a refund, but I didn't even make an inquiry because the delivery man's face was hazy. I'm going to use it while telling myself that it's a scratch that can occur after long-term use. Please be careful to inspect the item before packing it.
