#4 A great joy discovered while decorating a house There are many big and small things that I realize while lovingly taking care of a house, but one of the most memorable ones is discovering the precious morning sunlight in our southwest-facing house. As I became more and more absorbed in plants and the number of plants I took care of increased, I always regretted not having a veranda where the sun would only come in after 11 AM. But one morning, when I opened the kitchen door, I couldn’t easily forget the beautiful morning sunlight I encountered. This precious sunlight can only be seen from spring to fall when the sun rises, but I couldn’t miss this sunlight that came in from 8 AM to a little after 9 AM, so I carried the flower pots back and forth from the veranda to the kitchen, and the time I spent here became longer.
