#Record Club #Jiyoung-eul-geun I think each butler has a plant that protects their self-esteem. For me, Aralia is like that. Starting from a size that is the size of a cup that can hold an iced Americano, it has never hesitated to sprout new leaves for four and a half years until it grew to a size that could fit an entire home cafe if you were to take a picture of it all. It is somewhat slower than syngoniums that sprout one leaf a week, but it is definitely not lazy. While countless plants leave behind empty pots, Aralia is moving forward by forming its delicate stems into a strong neck and increasing the number of dark serrated leaves. It is still difficult for me to say that it is okay to go slowly and live at my own pace, but Aralia seems to already know. The thin, dark leaves sway in the breeze and look delicate and elegant from afar, but when you look closely, you can see the sharp serrations at the tips of the leaves that are divided into many branches, which feels like a silent warning not to come any closer. If Aralia were a person, wouldn't she be a cool woman with a firm philosophy on the outside but strong on the inside?
