Independent kitchen renovation journey with affordable price items and easy to do yourself (D.I.Y) The first thing I did was change the color of the kitchen island from black to natural brown using linen wallpaper. So that it doesn't fade easily, I coated the kitchen island with transparent mica plastic so it is safe when cleaning. Second, replace floating shelves with hanging kitchen sets which are also ready made items via online shops.
