My daughter has never regretted using the bumper bed since she was a newborn and now she is five years old. When she was a newborn, I opened one side and laid down next to her to take care of her. After she slept through the night from two months, I closed all four sides to completely separate her sleep. Now that she is a little older, I removed the sides and decorated her like a princess bed.
