I think the kitchen styling with open shelving & black is the same as a brown kitchen or other colors. Both need to be kept clean & tidy. Don't leave lots of items piled up even though they are damaged or no longer used, apart from making the kitchen crowded, space for storage will be limited and it will become messy, right? It's true that if the kitchen is closed and has lots of drawers, it seems safer from dust & if it's messy it won't be visible, but that doesn't mean it doesn't need to be cleaned, right?
