Kyoto, Summer Vacation ⋆◡̎⋆ Third Special Experience, Takashi Murakami Exhibition Takashi Murakami, a contemporary artist who has recently become famous in Korea through his collaboration with New Jeans. He is well known as a world-class artist and a master of Japanese contemporary art. This exhibition, which is being held for the first time in 8 years, will feature a whopping 170 works, and I was especially excited because it was his first solo exhibition in Kyoto. The first thing that catches your eye when you enter is a huge sculpture. This statue symbolizes hope and recovery during the COVID pandemic. It is Takashi's representative work that can only be seen here, created in collaboration with Louis Vuitton. After viewing the exhibition, you can also visit the goods shop that features Takashi's works.
