#기록클럽 #좋아하는게많으면어때 Being with plants In June 2020, as the coronavirus got worse and I spent more time at home, I started decorating the 2-pyeong small room I live in with my parents. At that time, I just looked at photos of houses overseas and liked spaces with plants. However, at the time, my room was north-facing, so the sun didn't shine all day, so it wasn't a good condition for growing plants. Still, I thought about growing them once, so I went to the mart to buy groceries and bought a 'table palm' that was easy to grow, but after the walnuts ate the table palm leaves every day like dessert, so in the end, only the branches were left, so I called it a green star. After that, I tried many plants, but they died as soon as I touched them, and the only one that survived, Hope Cellem, is still with me. I started growing plants again when I moved to my current house. Since the house faces southwest and gets a lot of sunlight, I saw that Hope Salem was growing well with many new leaves right after moving in, so I gathered my courage and started bringing in plants again. Up until then, I only had about 5 pots and wasn’t that interested in plants, but after about 3 years, I naturally became a plant steward. I learned selfless love from taking responsibility for something while growing plants. Even though it was a little annoying, my morning routine of taking a little time to diligently move around and check the leaves and soil of the plants, checking the humidity and temperature, and spraying them in the air was like simple labor, but it gave me peace of mind. I was so happy when my plants sprouted new leaves or bloomed flowers, and I was sad and upset when I saw a plant that was growing well suddenly become unstable. My self-esteem went up a lot and I felt myself becoming stronger because of the emotional changes, responsibility, and sense of accomplishment that I felt when I put my heart into something.
