ep.10 | #기록클럽 #모든식물은저마다의이야기가있다 _Colocasia Teacup A friend who is close to being a plant expert asked if anyone could take care of it since he said he couldn't grow it. It was a plant I had never seen before, but it was cute and pretty, so I shouted, "Me!" The name is Teacup. It's so cute. The leaves really look like you could make tea with it! It was a plant I had never heard of before and I had never seen before, but he said he gave up on growing it because it got bugs so easily. When I brought it home, there were so many leaves damaged by spider mites that I had to cut off more than half of them, and I wondered if it would ever live again. But after waiting while giving it water, new leaves started to grow, and the leaves grew twice as big. Huh? It's not a teacup, it's a mug?? It looks like an umbrella like a lotus leaf. Even the shadow is pretty. I was proud and sent a picture to my friend. I'm raising it so well! A year later, that person finally came to my house too. Ouch. I cut off the part where the maggots appeared and sprayed medicine… I took a long time to save it just like when I first brought it home, but when I was busy and didn’t take good care of it, it happened again, and during the rainy season, and it happened again for this reason and that reason… and eventually, it spread to other plants around it. A decision to save the country. I decided to use the time and effort I put into saving this one to raise other plants well, and I threw it away in the trash. When I first started out as a vinegar planter, not knowing much about things like pruning and trimming, I felt so sorry and regretful about cutting off every leaf and branch. Is this okay? Is this really okay? Won’t I regret it? When I actually cut it with scissors, I learned that cutting off unnecessary parts actually helps the plant, and that sometimes I have to know how to give up in order to grow other plants well, and I thought, ‘Are we just like humans?’ Cutting off unhealthy relationships and bonds can actually be helpful, and it can even be a way to protect my people… The more I learn, the more I realize that the world of plants and the world of humans are no different. #Plants #식물일기 #식물인테리어 #식물키우기 #콜로카시아 #콜로카시아티컵 #침실 #침실인테리어 #전원주택 #전원주택인테리어 #플랜테리어
