#13 Three pieces of advice for balancing parenting and YouTube If you are a parenting mom or working mom YouTuber, you are more likely to want to give up and find yourself in a difficult situation. Today, I would like to give you three pieces of advice. First, secure time to focus on your work. If you are balancing unpredictable parenting and work, you will never have enough time to focus on video production. First, secure time to focus on filming and editing your videos. It doesn’t matter whether it is in the evening when you put your child to bed or in the early morning when your child is asleep. You need to create an environment where you can focus completely and work so that you can continue doing anything. Second, create your own space. It is not easy to have your own space after getting married and having a child. However, you definitely need your own space to balance your various roles such as home, work, and self-development. It doesn’t have to be a huge space, but a small desk on one side of the living room or a space next to the dresser where you can put your laptop is enough. I also created a space in my bedroom where I can put a small desk and work there. If you have a space where you can completely focus on yourself, away from your family, you can completely focus on your own space, away from the various household chores and distractions. Third, don't be too obsessed with the upload cycle. If you try too hard at first and aim to upload once a week or once every two weeks, you may feel burdened by that and want to give up more quickly. I think I also ran my channel with a cycle of uploading one video a month or so in the beginning. Later, after I gained a certain number of subscribers and had a sense of direction, I started uploading videos more regularly. The most important thing when running a long distance is to control your pace. Since YouTube is a field where it is difficult to see short-term results, it is better to look at it for a longer period of time and control your pace in the beginning. That way, you can run your YouTube channel more efficiently and sustainably from a long-term perspective. It is definitely not easy to do parenting and YouTube at the same time, but if you create time and space where you can fully focus and run YouTube with a plan that suits your situation without overdoing it, you can definitely continue. Above all, it is important to take care of yourself and control your pace. If you work hard consistently, the sense of accomplishment and reward you get from the process will be incomparable to anything else. I hope you take one step at a time toward your dreams and find joy and fulfillment. #WorkingMomYouTuberChallenge #기록클럽 #유튜브 #헤이두
