[Eleventh Story - Hello? This is Dapjeong-neo] My mother-in-law has been a plant steward since I was young and even now.. I call my mother a high-class druid. There was a rumor in the neighborhood that she was good at growing plants, so neighbors would bring their dead pots to save them or just throw the pots in front of my mother's house. I've seen her revive dying pots and make them fresh many times, but it's always amazing. In the past, I just thought she was good at growing plants, but I wasn't interested in how my mother grew them. Then, when I started growing plants, I started to be curious about my mother's pots and her methods. When I first started growing plants, I used to refer to a lot of tips for beginners on books and YouTube, but there were some things that were completely opposite to what my mother did. For example, because it’s a hassle to repot, I plant them in pots that are several times larger than the plants and use very rich soil. These things planted in my mother’s way should have died from overwatering, but if I just threw them away, they would grow like a lie and soon fill up the large pot and the leaves would become lush. I was amazed by my mother’s method, but the types of plants were different, and I didn’t follow her method because I thought it would be difficult to grow plants that way in an indoor garden. As the number and types of plants in my garden increased over the years, I started to develop my own method that suited my home environment, and now I’m growing them as I please. Of course, I still have a lot to learn, but I, a mature person, I repot the plants as I please, mix the soil, water them as I please, and pot them as I please. My mother, although not as much as my mother, looks at my garden and is amazed at how well it grows. Since they respect each other's territory(?), they no longer tell you not to use the small things in the flower pot. There are general principles when growing plants, but there is no set answer for the small details below. Everyone has their own way that fits their space, and it can be the same or different. Everyone goes through trial and error to find it.
