I was really worried, but the black is prettier than I thought! The real thing is prettier than the picture, and the black is made only in gray and black, so it blends well into the space. There is almost no noise, and when you turn up the wind speed, the wind is stronger than an electric fan. The head moves so well that there are no blind spots. The indirect lighting behind the head is really attractive... My house has a lot of lights, so I really like it because it matches well with other lights in the evening. Very satisfied
