Hydrangeas/Cypresses start out white, then gradually change to blue, and then add red to turn purple. If the soil they are planted in is alkaline, they turn pink, and if it is acidic, they turn blue. They are amazing flowers that change depending on the environment. I often hear the saying, “People don’t change.” However, I think people can change easily. If you change the environment around them enough to bring about change. When my mind is complicated, I do housework. When I have too many thoughts and feel lethargic, my house is often a mess. I change my mind by cleaning up the messy house and organizing it neatly. This is also the power of environmental change. If there is a field that you are curious about and interested in, but you are worried about changing your job right away, you can apply for a part-time job in that industry. I am currently working part-time at a cafe through this method. You can learn about coffee and experience the system that runs the cafe yourself. In addition, if you join a group that has a common will, such as a running crew or a reading group, the environment will push and lead you even if you lack will.
