There’s a cat at the animal hospital that’s probably over 10 years old, and he likes people so much that he greets me more than Hosaeng and acts cute by purring. It was once the leader cat that ruled the alley, but now it’s the hospital cat that monopolizes love at the hospital. When I treat Suji well, his tension eases, and Hosaeng gets jealous and meows at me from inside his cage. When I wrap him up in an attachment blanket and pat him while the door is closed, I can feel his growing sense of relief from the tips of my fingers. His weight has been between 3.9 and 4 kg since he became an adult cat, but his weight a month ago and a while ago were the same, down to the decimal point, so the director of the animal hospital was surprised and proud. I was worried that he might have gained weight because I didn't play with him as much as before since I started working, but it seems that it was worth it when Ho-saeng diligently rode the cat wheel after eating. But I should play with him more now. Since this is my first time with a cat and I'm the only one who can notice Ho-saeng's abnormality, my heart sinks when Ho-saeng looks even a little strange. Fortunately, he's still a very healthy kitten, but I think I need to practice becoming a butler with a heart of steel in preparation for the future.
