💙 Organizing over 1,000 books neatly 💙 There are many people who are good at organizing their kitchens and pantries.👍 I don't have that kind of talent, but I'm confident in organizing books! I give away, sell, or throw away books (🥲) whenever I have time, but I still have 1,000 books at home... no, way more than that, so if I don't organize them, it's really hard to find the book I want. There are three main principles for organizing books in my house. • Distinguish between literature and non-literature (mostly my books are literature, my husband's books are non-literature, so the number of books we have is similar) • Arrange books published in a series by the same publisher in order of series number (for example, Minumsa World Literature Collection or My Cultural Heritage Tour are arranged in ascending order from left to right starting from volume 1) • Arrange by subject, such as history, geography, religion, music, art, economy, health, etc. If you just follow these three principles, you can quickly pick out the book you want from the numerous books on the bookshelf. 📍 By the way! The space in the first and second pictures is the study of the house in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, where my family lived until early this year. At first, I wanted to buy a nice bookshelf, so I went to many furniture stores, but there weren't many stores that sold bookshelves themselves, let alone being nice! Oh my!
