First of all, we bought Rev for the purpose of separate sleeping for our baby! As always with parenting, it didn’t go as planned for us and my husband. I thought we would succeed in separate sleeping, but yes… we failed. Separate sleeping isn’t something that just anyone can do. So we ended up buying an additional Rev daybed and made it into a family bed :) I felt a financial burden to buy an additional bed, but since it was on sale, I think I bought it at a good price. Also, thanks to Rev’s simple design, it goes well with the existing bedroom furniture even when we put the bed in the master bedroom. Also, we have a pet dog, and Rev’s bed isn’t too high, so the dog doesn’t need to climb stairs to go up and down, so I think it won’t be too hard on the dog’s joints! The installer came and kindly connected the beds even though we bought them at different times, so I felt once again that it was a good decision to buy Rev. Looking at other reviews, I saw that there was a new furniture smell in the frame, but I could use it right away because there was almost no smell. In the end, I failed to sleep separately, but I think I feel much more comfortable sleeping together on the family bed.
