A trick to change a sitting table to a standing table๐Ÿซฃ๐ŸคŽ There is about 25cm of space left in my bedroom from the bed frame to the wall. It would only fit a narrow console or shelf, but I really wanted a wooden table! So I tried using the existing sitting bench table. I supported two legs on the wide ledge(?) at the bottom of the bed frame, and boldly raised the other two..!๐Ÿ”ฅ The reason this was possible was because 1. The anti-slip rubber on the bench legs was strong 2. There was space for the legs to go up on the bed frame 3. The solid mattress supported the legs 4. The center of gravity was perfectly aligned when the table top touched the wall..! I tried supporting it by adjusting the height of various things because the floating legs were unstable, but the floating one was the most stable. ใ…Žใ…Ž But just in case, I added more friction with a rubber sticker on the part where the table top touches the wall! It is a table glass anti-slip sticker sold at Daiso. The furniture tone matches and the height is enough for my legs, so it's easy to use, and I can use it to write a diary๐ŸคŽ I'm happily imagining putting a small bookshelf on the narrow wall, and that's all for today..!!
