I've been thinking about how to use the long hallway/kitchen, so I put in some new furniture that doubles as both storage and a dining table. When you want to use it more spaciously, you can pull out the table, and when you shrink it, it's almost the same depth as the kitchen, so there's no problem passing through the hallway. It also creates space to spread out the ingredients you buy, and you can use it as a workbench while cooking. You can eat it as soon as it's done, and it's easy to clean up. However, it's very hot in the summer (I'll have to think of ways to deal with it next year), and the entrance is right next to it. #kitchen/hallway #kitchenstorage #diningroominterior
