Since we have been raising children by reading books since pregnancy, there are bookshelves in every space:) The children's room is a workroom that I use together and is also a small library. All the bookshelves in the house are filled with Muji storage shelves, and I put Muji living-dining table and sofa in the children's room. Since the height is low, the space looks wider and it is good to use with the children. I also put a small bookshelf in the bedroom and change the books frequently while reading at bedtime. I am currently using a discontinued Muji storage bed, but there is a lot of storage space under the bed, so I store seasonal clothes and bedding:) My older child is in 4th grade, and when it is time for bedtime reading, he comes next to me and reads picture books with me. I think a good environment for reading books makes people like reading. My children still play happily without smartphones, YouTube exposure, or games. Kids who like to write, draw, and create really like their current room, so they are very satisfied with the room decoration🫶 There is another room for kids who only read books, with a soft sofa and a bookshelf.
