About 12 years ago, my children went through a rough and tumble adolescence, and I had a very difficult time because of the conflict with my mother-in-law who I used to live with. My self-esteem was at rock bottom, so I started going to a local workshop to relieve stress. I received great comfort from the teacher at the workshop. As I focused on crochet, the wounds I received from my children and mother were healed... When I make tea coasters, bags, and dolls with a crochet hook and give them to people around me, I get exclamations and words of gratitude in return... My self-esteem goes up when I hear someone say thank you~ These days, I'm knitting doilies for my new apartment neighbors who I've become close with. I'm happy these days thinking about giving them as gifts~
