[EP.07] Raising a child who loves books #Parenting Tips #육아노하우 #오늘의육아 #만4세 #만3세 #19년생 #20년생 #오늘의육아1기 I think all parents have the same wish for their children to grow up to be people who love books. I don't do 'book parenting' on purpose, but so far, both of my children enjoy reading books, and I think it's thanks to 'bedtime reading' that has continued since they were crawling :) I have a rotating bookshelf that can hold about 250 books with minimal space usage right next to the bed. I've been doing this since my children were very young, so I've included old photos, and there are many days when they go straight to the bookshelf and take out the book they want to read, not to mention before going to bed, when they wake up in the morning. ✓ Create a routine for reading books before bed ✓ Keep books within easy reach ✓ Let them choose the books they want (there are many cases where they choose the same books for several days hehe) The kids always say, ‘Mom, I chose this book today’ and pick out a few books. I think I can count on one hand the number of times I suggested reading a book first. They take out books first and read them even when they are playing during the day, not to mention at night, and they find books on their own. If you want to raise a child who loves books, Plan a bedtime reading program! I recommend placing a bookshelf within easy reach next to the bed! It will be a good environment for children who adapt and absorb anything quickly🤍
