10 Things You Must Know When Moving⭐️ It's been exactly a week since we first moved into our new home! There are still some places that are a mess, but I think things are starting to get organized now😂 It's really hectic from moving preparations to moving day! So I've prepared 10 moving checklists that newlyweds like us tend to miss based on my own experience and feelings✨ 1. Increase your bank transfer limit in advance Since you have to pay the balance on moving day, it's essential to increase your mobile transfer limit so that you can receive and send a large amount of money! If moving day is the weekend, you won't be able to go to the bank in a hurry, so be sure to increase your limit in advance🫶 2. Pack real estate documents, valuables, laptops, etc. separately You may need real estate documents when paying the balance on moving day! After the moving company finishes packing, if you want to find it, you have to go through all the packed items and take them out, so the moving time may be delayed. 😩 Put valuables, laptops, etc. that are at risk of being lost or stolen, along with real estate documents, separately in advance. 🤍 3. Separate what to throw away and what to leave behind If the moving company starts packing your stuff very quickly, it may be difficult to explain everything in words! It will be helpful if you write down what to throw away and what to leave behind on a post-it or large piece of paper in advance🙌 Even if you write it down, there are cases where they misread it and take everything away, so it is important to monitor it from the side! 4. Change the door lock password of your existing house It is also important to change the existing house password to an easy-to-remember number for the person moving in. If you don't want to reveal the original password, change it in advance✋ 5. Prepare several large 75L volume-based bags There are quite a few things to throw away on the moving day! It is a good idea to prepare at least two large-capacity volume-based bags for use in your existing home and the new home✨ 6. Dispose of dehumidifiers in advance Dehumidifiers such as water-drinking hippos can contaminate items in your moving boxes, so it is a good idea to throw them away in advance! It may be difficult for the moving company to remove and discard each item individually, so if there are a lot of them, throw them away in advance✨ 7. Apply for water purifier relocation installation in advance It is a good idea to apply for water purifiers, internet, special appliances/furniture, etc. that require relocation installation to the company in advance! Reservations sometimes close a few weeks in advance, so make a reservation as soon as possible🫶 You will lose out if you just relocate the internet! Apply for a city gas settlement visit in advance It is also a good idea to make a city gas visit reservation in advance! In case the moving company cannot visit on the desired date, it is better to make a reservation in advance and settle the bill on the day of moving or the day before✨ 9. Take the Internet router in the distribution box Usually, the two routers installed on the TV side are taken care of by the moving company, but the router in the distribution box is often missed! We almost missed it, but when we opened it, there was a device, so we asked the Internet moving installation technician and he said we had to take it with us🛜 If you don't take it with you, you may be charged for loss, so make sure to take it with you🤍 10. Report your move & apply for address change/change service Even if you are out of your mind on moving day, you should definitely report your move, right?
