If you need to talk, put a big table in the living room! [Building a living room layout that utilizes the dining table 200%] I was sad that I had to move the table in the dining room to the living room to make a room for the soon-to-be-born baby, but when I moved it to the living room, it was actually useful?? The best change is that I have more time to sit at the table and talk while reading the newspaper, drinking coffee, or just resting. Since the living room is a place where people gather, I think that arranging the furniture so that we can face each other naturally affects our behavior. (In that sense, I wish I could get rid of the TV in the living room that only faces one direction...but I always fail.)
