Bulky kitchen items (baskets, steamers) are stored on open shelves and displayed. The steamers were purchased in Kobe's Chinatown. MUJI's shallow bamboo basket (maybe discontinued) looks great when lined with cooking paper and used to arrange rice balls and small side dishes.
