Small house but feels big, utilizing the open space concept is the solution to overcome it. The open space concept that we apply in our house is to unite the living room, dining room and kitchen in a room area of 3.9x5.4m by combining furniture that is not too big. Choosing a 2-seat sofa plus stool, chairs and a rectangular dining table with a slim width is one way to make the room feel spacious. This concept is very successful in our house because even though the land is small, the room feels spacious, especially since we have small children who still like to run around so we can monitor the children playing while cooking. The kitchen set concept is also only in a line to save space with a table length of 2.7m which is enough for daily cooking activities. In addition, the solution to make the room feel more spacious is to choose a bright base color, so we choose white for the wall and floor paint colors plus wall mirror accessories to give the impression of a more spacious room.
