With limited space, we utilize the space under the stairs as a kitchen area. We don't make many cabinets so that the room doesn't look too crowded. We organize all the cooking equipment, eating utensils and spices to be stored in the cabinets that have been provided so that the kitchen still looks clean and tidy. The island table is deliberately made large enough to be used as an area for cooking, cutting and preparing food.
