Lotus root season! How do you eat lotus root? I actually tried lotus root dishes for the first time this year. I liked it, but I never thought about making it at home. When my husband said he wanted to eat braised lotus root, I bought lotus root for the first time. But after seeing the enormous amount of sugar in braised lotus root, I stopped. 😂 After that, I coated lotus root in rice flour or starch, fried it with a little oil, and ate it with salad or as a rice bowl. Isn't it so delicious? For salad, olive oil and balsamic vinegar are great, and the combination of chicory and basil is really good!
