#반려동물과함께사는집 My husband, an architect, has published a book about the architecture of houses with cats (#가가묘묘). However, when we were planning our house, we didn’t have pets, so we designed a house just for people. When Dojang comes home, I think about what kind of space would be for cats. I raise the sofa slightly from the wall to create a side path just for cats, put a ladder for cats that want to climb high and look outside, and make stairs here and there with furniture for cats that only look up to go higher. When I see cats looking down from high places in angles that I have never seen before, I suddenly wonder what our house looks like from the cat’s perspective. When I follow the cat’s gaze, small moments that are easy to miss in everyday life come to me in a new way.
