🛠️Do-it-yourself kitchen rail construction🛠️ One of the kitchen designs I looked at when remodeling was the kitchen rail! Rather than a small rail to hang cooking utensils, I dreamed of a rail that could hang frying pans and pots :) It would have been nice to do it all at once when remodeling, but Oho, I ordered the construction company and the kitchen company (IKEA) separately, so in fact, neither of them did this ambiguous area of work well,,, So I took pictures to check the location of the wooden frame before finishing the drywall, and then I constructed the shelves and rails myself later! (It would be better if you reinforced the area with plywood when remodeling!) ❗️Since we are not construction masters, I made a construction video based on what I learned:) Let's do self-construction step by step together! [❤️Construction method❤️] 1. Design and construction - Think about which part to attach the rail to and what thickness of bar to make it with. - Think about whether there are any parts that are impossible while simulating the construction order in your head. - It is recommended to finish both ends of the pipe with a single hole, but depending on the bracket support location, you can make it a double hole and cover it with a pipe cover. 2. Material Order - Stainless steel pipe bracket single hole & double hole - Stainless steel pipe round STS304 / 25.4 pi / 1.1t (order the cover together from the pipe company / set to the desired thickness) - 4.3mm drill bit - 5*4.5 piece - We used pieces that can be installed without a knife block, and the drill bit and piece may have different specifications or fastening methods depending on the structure. - If it is difficult, go to a nearby large hardware store or tool store and ask, and they will give you a lot of good tips. 3. Construction - Attach masking tape to the perforation point and perforate with a drill bit. - If both sides are single holes, attach the bracket while inserting the pipe into the single hole. - Attach the remaining brackets and you're done! Finally, I attached two kitchen rails for about 55,000 won! (The price may vary depending on the size and length.) I couldn't leave a specific place to buy the materials in case there was a problem, but if you need it, please leave a comment or DM and I'll send it to you!📣 ⚠️If it's drywall or gypsum board, it would be better to refrain from hanging heavy objects:) ⚠️The construction method we used may not be the right answer for everyone⚠️ If there's anything lacking, please let me know in the comments. It would be a great help to the next people!
