#2024올해의집 My 7-pyeong studio apartment story 🥃 This year, I turned 30, and it was the year I started living on my own for the first time in my life. 🏡 This small 7-pyeong space has now become my own world. When I was young, I lived in a house decorated by my mother, and when I was a college student, I lived in a share house with my friends. When I finally had my own space, I wanted to create a house filled with things I liked. And today's house was where I met fate. The countless interior photos I saw on the app felt like a new world. Out of all of them, the home bar interior was what really caught my eye. The moment I saw the pretty glasses, lighting, and my own liquor cabinet, I thought, 'Ah, I want to have a space like this too.' A whiskey home bar filled with my own tastes At first, it was just a small corner where I could enjoy a bottle or two of whiskey. But little by little, I collected glasses that I liked, put up lights, and finally put in a small display case, and it became a completely different space. 🥃✨ This space is not just a place to put alcohol. It became a precious hobby space that contained my taste and the lifestyle of my 30s. This home bar naturally became a space for communication with friends. One day, I invited my friends over for a glass of whiskey and they said, “Your studio is so pretty! It really suits you!” The moment I heard that, I felt the joy of knowing my taste. 🫶 My daily life changed thanks to Today’s House Today’s House wasn’t just a shopping app. It was a storehouse of inspiration for filling up my home. I never knew that discovering “what I like” and thinking about how to implement it in my home could be this enjoyable. In the past, I felt bored with my time at home. But now, my time at home has become the most exciting moment. An evening where I play my favorite music, pour a glass of whiskey, and read a book under the lights. Now, these small daily routines have become the greatest joys in my life. 🌟 Why I'm looking forward to next year Many parts of my life have changed this year as I decorated my house. At first, the 7-pyeong studio apartment seemed overwhelming, but now it has become a space filled with taste and happiness. I'm really looking forward to what kind of stories will be built in this space next year. I'm planning to decorate my whiskey home bar even more richly, and I'm thinking about putting in a massage chair to create a more comfortable living room feel.
