A German house with a large window where you can fully experience the four seasons 🏡 I have less than two months left to live in this house. Looking at the photos of our house that contain the four seasons, I realized that our family had such happy times in this house. <A space with more memories than memories> This house is more than just a 'space' for us; it contains our family's 'time'. It's a house filled with props we bought at flea markets every weekend and vintage furniture we bought while traveling around Europe. Even if we move to another place, I think that when I see the furniture and props, I'll be reminded of the times my family spent in Germany. The pink table lamp that my child chose because it looked like candy, the time I sat on the sofa listening to music on a vintage turntable, the conversation I had with my husband in the car on the way to pick up vintage furniture, and even sitting in a rocking chair and looking at the Christmas tree together... When I first moved into this house, I wanted to create a space with more memories than memories, and I think I achieved that :) <A house where I could fully experience the four seasons> The biggest advantage of this house is the large window that opens from the living room to the garden. I could fully experience the four seasons through this window. Is this the effect of the seasons? I love seasonal food and seasonal activities. When I fully experience the seasons like this, my life becomes richer, I feel grateful, and I make more memories for each season? When spring comes, cherry blossoms bloom on the cherry tree, and when roses start to bloom, summer is coming, when the heat goes away, hydrangeas bloom, and when winter comes, I drink warm coffee while looking at the world covered in white snow. When the weather is nice, I grill in the garden, and when the hot summer comes, I make a pool and play in the water with my kids. When snow piles up in the garden, I have snowball fights, make snowmen, and enjoy the quiet mornings covered in snow. <Times spent with Today's House> I was able to look at this space with more affection while with Today's House, and I was happy to be able to keep records. When I write down my thoughts, I feel more affection for it and it seems to stay in my memories for a long time. That's why I think I was able to cherish my house more. It was a great experience to discover what I like about the space called 'home' while trying out various Today's House challenges. I realized that I like 'home cafe' and 'home brunch' time, so I habitually had home brunch time like that when my child goes to school. I was also able to keep a consistent habit of recording. Actually, I didn't have anything to do consistently after giving birth, but I think I was able to consistently record because I was able to participate in Today's House activities without feeling burdened. Of course, these days, when I see other people's spaces and content, I feel like I should work a little harder (?) :) <Wherever I go in the future, with my own taste> My family has to move often because of my husband's work. We have to move internationally every 2-3 years, so it's quite frequent...right? ㅎㅎ But since I decorate my space with my own taste like this, I think I won't get tired even if I move a lot. I wonder how my taste will be reflected in each space. Because each country and space will have a different charm :) I'm also looking forward to recording another space of our family in Today's House in the future. When these things come together, they will eventually become a portfolio of our family's memories and spaces!
