#2024올해의집 (Direct link is below.) 2024 is a special year that has seen the most changes since it was converted to a sale in its 7th year of moving in. After it became our house, we painted it again and completed the construction projects that we had planned one by one. Since it became our house, my husband, who does interior design, finally took care of various parts of the house, and it was also a meaningful year that I was able to realize the parts that I had been talking about so much. I will introduce 8 construction projects that I have changed while living with high satisfaction. (1) Painting: I called a company and partially painted only the kitchen, hallway, children's room, 2nd floor bedroom, and 2nd floor living room. I started painting 2/3 of the 32 pyeong space and finished at 9 am and 5 pm. I thought there would be a lot of dust because I was living there, but it was okay because the maintenance work was done thoroughly. After painting, I cleaned everything up and~ Anyway, the atmosphere was clean and when I saw it in the morning, it was so clean and I felt really good. (2) Kitchen: I finally installed a refrigerator after getting rid of the 12-year-old refrigerator. It was so nice to organize the refrigerator to fit the size of the refrigerator and the refrigerator. It was a simple white refrigerator, but I was so satisfied that I knew why I did it. And the square sink I bought from AliExpress~ I've been using it for about 6 months, and I really like it except for the water faucet. It even comes with a pressure washer, so it's sooooooo much easier to wash dishes. It's easy to get scratched, but I installed it in black, so the scratches aren't that bad. The small drain hole was also a disadvantage, but it was completely fine when I used it. (Ali square sink: https://a.aliexpress.com/_ooEtxYf) (3) Ceiling fan and recessed lighting installation: I installed the ceiling fan I bought from AliExpress, and installed recessed lighting in all the rooms and hallways myself. I used the ceiling fan I first bought on AliExpress for about 2 years and it was so good without any problems. So I bought 3 more during the Ali sale and put them in my parents' house and my sister's living room, and also in my daughter's room. Thanks to this, I don't have to put up a fan in the summer, so it's cool. I highly recommend buying the ceiling fan during the sale because the discount is big during the Ali sale. My husband installed the recessed lights all over the house himself, and I'm really satisfied. (4) Living room: The biggest change was taking the 65-inch TV off the living room art wall for 7 years and moving it to a stand. Since then, I've been able to freely arrange the sofa and really enjoy my living room life. It’s been over 6 months since I installed the 65-inch TV stand, and I’m really satisfied because it hasn’t broken or been dangerous! I bought a sticky Temba board and installed it myself on the TV art wall that had holes all over it. I really liked how easy the installation method was and how much it changed the look. (5) Self-replacement of the screen: I bought a roll of fine water-repellent screen and replaced all the screens myself. It rains a lot in the summer, so raindrops kept coming in. I changed all of them myself because they said it could block fine dust and prevent about 80% of raindrops from coming in. First of all, I like how clean and dense the screen itself is to the point where you can’t see it, and it definitely reduced the amount of rain coming in and the number of small bugs coming in. I feel so relieved after removing the black screen that had been there all this time~ (6) Terrace: I bought all the terrace furniture during the IKEA summer sale, including a table, 4 chairs, and 4 flower pots, and they were all on sale for 50% off, so I was able to buy them really cheaply. I made a vegetable garden using Styrofoam in the flower pots and planted lettuce. This was my first time trying it, so I only harvested once, but I think I’ll be able to use it better next year. (7) Making a laundry room: I hired a contractor to install a double-door middle door and made my dream laundry room. I also installed a new washer/dryer and all the necessary items for the laundry room. In the summer, I can open the middle door wide, and in the winter, I can close it to block out the cold air. I was worried that it would be too cold, but even with just one middle door, the cold air definitely decreased, and there was no problem with heating, so I was very satisfied with the construction. (8) Decotile: I did the living room Decotile myself and I love it~ First of all, I really like the look of it, and although I moved furniture around a lot in the 3 months I’ve been using it, there’s no gap in the tiles. There are really no scratches and no mold yet~ Some people were worried that dust would get caught between the tiles, but there wasn’t any except for the outer edges~ And the temperature quickly rose just by turning up the boiler by 1 degree, so there was no problem with heating.
