#2024올해의집 If you decorate your dining room like this, you'll be 100% successful! It's been two years since we moved to live in the countryside. My youngest son had three surgeries for childhood cancer when he was four, and I think he'll be fully recovered now. He's already 12. My husband also had cancer and spent a long time in the hospital. After finishing all the treatments, we moved here. This is a house where nature breathes, so it's always healing. When I open my eyes to the sound of birds in the morning, the birds have made nests and are living in the trees in front of the house. In the spring, they even gave birth to chicks. The birds always come. This is the dining room space seen from the kitchen. This is the space where the seven family members gather to eat and talk. If you open the door on the right side and go out, there's a space like an outdoor terrace that can be used as a veranda and an outdoor terrace. After painting this partition wall a few days ago, the atmosphere changed, and I plan to do the kitchen and kids' room self-interior in the spring. This space has also changed the dining table three times in a year, and now it's finally settled in. For a 6-person cafe I'm using two tables side by side. I've gathered plants on the window side, and since the plant zone and the dining room are decorated together, I want to move the plants to the veranda in the spring and decorate them differently. The second picture is the outdoor deck next to the dining room. A space where the romance of a country life comes true with a veranda and terrace that goes out. It's not organized right now, so it's like a warehouse. But there's a fireplace, so in the winter, I put firewood in it and make a fire. And I roast potatoes and sweet potatoes. ㅎㅎ It's an even more wonderful space when the lighting is added. I wonder how it will change next year....
