I decided to buy a partition to separate the space in my small room. My room is largely divided into three areas: a study area, a lounge area, and a changing area. To help me focus in the study area and prevent my desk from being directly visible when the door is opened, I placed a partition on the side of my desk and placed a low storage unit in front of the partition. I decorated the storage unit so that I could easily store items on top. I think many people consider using partitions or dividers to separate spaces. I purchased a low-height partition because my current partition isn't in a position to install a partition. I also thought a long partition, like a wall, would make the small space feel cramped and interfere with air conditioning and lighting. If you're looking to separate spaces like I am but can't find a suitable location for a partition or find a long partition too intimidating, I recommend trying a low-height partition first.
