In my opinion, a space that looks elegant is a charming, inviting and cozy space. To get an inviting and put together space, I think there are some simple and budget friendly tricks that we can do: ⭐ First is scale. Recently I learned that size, even the distance between furniture, really affects the appearance of a room. For example, the distance between the shelves on the wall of my living room, which was originally only around 20 cm, I increased it to 40 cm and it turned out to make the room look more evenly filled (the Before photo can be seen in my old post for comparison) ⭐ Second is proportion. Usually when decorating a room, we tend to focus on the eye level area down so we forget to fill the upper wall and ceiling areas. The room feels "full" at the bottom. The use of art pieces on the upper wall area and hanging lamps draws our gaze upward and makes the room look more proportional ⭐ Third, lighting ☀️ My favorite light sources are natural light from the sun and light from decorative lamps. Recently I added a skylight so that my living room can get natural light. My living room is a bit dark because it is far from the window. Using a skylight makes this room get good light For the lights, I use several light sources so it's not just from 1 lamp. By using several decorative lights, the room feels more cozy. Usually I choose decorative lights with a unique design so that they can also be decorations when not turned on #ArtPiece #Ambalan #ArtWall #PaperLamp #DecorativeLighting #EclecticLivingRoom #EclecticHomeDecor #MidCenturyModern #ElegantOnBudget #DesainRumahElegant #SederhanaMewah
